The Comedy Store's San Diego room, a storefront club on Pearl Street in the heart of La Jolla village and the brand's longtime outpost south of Los Angeles. It's one intimate showroom of roughly 200 seats with first-come, first-served seating, running Tuesday through Sunday. Weekends are headliner runs of four to six shows from touring Store regulars — Erik Griffin, Greg Fitzsimmons, Liza Treyger, Kam Patterson, Ryan Sickler, Jeff Garlin, Jim Norton — while weeknights carry the house showcases: Wednesday Night Live, Roast Battle direct from the Hollywood club, the Sunset Strip Takeover (four Hollywood paid regulars coming south for a night), and The Best of San Diego, the city's longest-running local showcase. Tuesdays are a free open mic at 7pm followed by that showcase at 8. Every show is 21+ with valid ID and a two-drink minimum (non-alcoholic counts), and the room is phone-free — phones and smart watches go into Yondr pouches at the door.
