National Lampoon: The Yellow Door is a stand-up comedy club in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, at 750 Sixth Ave, operating under the National Lampoon banner. The showroom is an intimate tiered room of roughly 150 seats where every spot sits close to the stage, with a full bar and dinner menu served during the show. The club books comedy most nights of the week — weekend headliners and touring acts alongside recurring house shows like Comedy Madness with Michael Quu, Local Laughs, Hot Sets and Fresh Faces, plus a free Wednesday open mic for local comics. Sets typically run 75 to 90 minutes, all shows are 21+, and a two-drink minimum applies per person.
