The Siren Theater

The Siren Theater is a comedy-first performing arts venue on North Mississippi Avenue in Portland, Oregon. It moved to the Mississippi district in March 2023 after seven years in the historic Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association building in Old Town/Chinatown, and the Portland Mercury has called it "a game changer for Portland comedy." The flexible room seats up to 99 in rows (120 total) with movable chairs and a licensed beer and wine bar, and the calendar runs stand-up headliners alongside sketch, improv, variety, and staged parodies of cult-classic films. The Siren is home to sketch groups The Aces, The Sisters of Mercy, and Lone Wolves, produces the annual Portland Sketchfest, and teaches comedy classes whose graduates get their own student showcases. All ages, ground-floor and step-free, and a strict no-heckling room.
