Detroit's premiere stand-up club, set in the speakeasy-inspired lower level of the restored Norwood theater on Woodward Avenue in the New Center neighborhood. The Comedy Bar built its name in Chicago starting in 2011 and opened its Detroit room in 2025, bringing national touring headliners and local favorites through every weekend — recent bookings include Marcus Monroe, Joey Bragg, and Shayne Smith. A 175-seat showroom pairs craft cocktails and a full bar with clear sightlines from every seat.
