Sunset Strip Comedy Club is a standup room in the heart of downtown Austin, upstairs at 214 E. 6th Street in the space that was once The Parish. It opened in April 2023, founded by Adam Hartle alongside co-founders Brian Redban (Kill Tony, The Joe Rogan Experience), Anthony Hashem and Christina Alvarado, and it runs as a coffee shop for comedians by day and a comedy club by night. Shows run six nights a week — house showcases with rotating, often unannounced lineups, plus touring headliners and live podcast recordings — and the club hosts open mics daily for comics working on new material. National headliners including Ron White, Joey Diaz and Shane Gillis have played the room alongside Austin's own. Full bar, two-item minimum, 21+, and Yondr pouches keep the room phone-free.
