Gainbridge Fieldhouse

Gainbridge Fieldhouse is the downtown Indianapolis arena that has been home to the NBA's Indiana Pacers and the WNBA's Indiana Fever since it opened in 1999 (as Conseco Fieldhouse, later Bankers Life Fieldhouse). Its fieldhouse-inspired design — brick, exposed steel and a glass entry pavilion on South Pennsylvania Street — was built as a nod to Indiana's basketball gyms, and a recent renovation added the Ascension St. Vincent Entry Pavilion and the Bicentennial Plaza out front. Around 17,000 seats, and the calendar runs well past basketball: arena concerts, WWE, PBR, circus and ice shows, and marquee touring standup, with Matt Rife and Gabriel Iglesias both booked this fall.
