Emerald City Comedy Club is Seattle's home for live stand-up comedy, tucked into Capitol Hill at 210 Broadway E, one block from the Capitol Hill LINK light rail station. Every week the room showcases touring headliners from across the country alongside the Pacific Northwest's rising stars, in an intimate cabaret-style showroom of small tables that puts you close to the action. Recent and upcoming bills have included Adam Carolla, Big Jay Oakerson, Shayne Smith and Malik Elassal, plus the club's own Seattle's Funniest competition and a free open mic every Tuesday night. There is a full bar and a menu of shareable appetizers, entrees and desserts, craft cocktails and local beers, with shows typically running 90 to 105 minutes. Shows are strictly 21+ unless otherwise noted, phones stay away during the set, and there is a two-item minimum in the showroom (waived on open mic nights).
