Founded in 2020 by Tacoma native Nate Jackson — the Wild 'N Out and Def Comedy Jam comic — Super Funny is a full-service comedy club in the heart of downtown Tacoma, tucked in below the Courtyard Marriott on Pacific Avenue, and the only Black-owned comedy club in the Pacific Northwest. What started as the weekly "Super Funny Show" grew into a purpose-built room with a raised stage, its own bar and kitchen, running multiple shows a week: national headliners on the weekends (Tiffany Haddish, Luenell, Bill Bellamy, DC Young Fly, Jess Hilarious, Bruce Bruce), the touring acts' features and regional standouts in support, and Tight Five Tuesdays as a weekly proving ground for Puget Sound comics. The club also throws its own Super Funny Comedy Festival every August. 21+, two-item minimum, general admission seating by section.
