The Laughing Academy is Glenview's home for world-class comedy — a North Shore comedy school founded by former Second City performer Kim Greene Hiller that also runs its own club room. Academy After Hours, the studio's intimate BYOB mainstage, books top touring and Chicagoland stand-ups — Nick Cobb, Tim Walkoe, Paul Farahvar, Chris Trani, Vik Pandya and Jayson Cross among them — alongside improv from the house team and stand-up showcases from the Academy's own adult students. Seating is assigned, parking is free, and the After Hours shows aren't recommended for kids under 18.
