The Comedy Loft of DC

The Comedy Loft of DC is an intimate standup club in Dupont Circle, tucked upstairs from the Bier Baron Tavern at 1523 22nd St NW — a five-minute walk from the Dupont Circle Metro. The room runs national headliners and local showcases nearly every night of the week, with recent and upcoming bookings including Damon Wayans Jr., T.J. Miller, Janeane Garofalo, Erik Griffin, Emma Willmann and Kat Timpf, alongside recurring series like Noche de Comedia Latina, Last Minute Comedy and Certified Fools. Seating is community-style and first-come-first-served (VIP seats are the exception), shows run about 75-100 minutes, and there is a two-item minimum in the showroom that can be any combination of food, drinks, coffee or dessert. Shows are 18+ unless otherwise noted, and the showroom is reachable by elevator from the street-level tavern with advance notice.
