Thalia Hall is a historic public hall in the heart of Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood, built in 1892 by John Dusek and modeled after the Prague opera house. Granted city landmark status in 1985 and reopened in 2013, the ornate three-story hall now hosts a packed calendar of touring music, comedy, and community events — recent visitors include touring stand-ups like Gianmarco Soresi alongside national and international bands. The building is a modern-day town hall: alongside the concert hall you'll find the Punch House and Tack Room bars and Mexican seafood restaurant Mariscos San Pedro. Most shows are all ages unless noted, with a passenger elevator and accessible balcony seating.
