The Rialto Theatre is a historic ~1,200-capacity room on East Congress Street in downtown Tucson, operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by the Rialto Theatre Foundation. Opened in 1922 and restored into one of the city's central live-performance spaces, it pairs a general-admission floor with a reserved balcony and books more than 200 shows a year across touring music, comedy and community events. Standup bills on the current calendar include Hannibal Buress, Maria Bamford, Whitney Cummings, Daniel Sloss, Kathy Griffin, Jessica Kirson, Jordan Jensen, Dusty Slay and Frankie Quinones. A clear-bag policy is in effect at the door, and children 7 and up are welcome with a parent or guardian unless an individual show says otherwise.
