Laffs Comedy Caffe is the oldest comedy club in Arizona and the only comedy club in Tucson, running continuously at 2900 E Broadway since 1988. Nationally touring headliners play two shows a night every Friday (8 & 10:30pm) and Saturday (7 & 9:30pm), with a free open mic every Thursday at 8pm where Southern Arizona's up-and-comers — and anyone brave enough to sign up — get stage time. The showroom is 21+ with a two-item minimum, and the list of comics who have played the room over the decades runs from Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres and Robin Williams to Mitch Hedberg, Paula Poundstone, George Lopez and Maria Bamford.
