The M&T Bank Exchange is the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center's flexible event hall, opened in October 2023 in a restored historic building at 401 West Fayette Street - a block from its sibling the Hippodrome Theatre, inside Baltimore's Bromo Arts & Entertainment District. Three levels of reconfigurable space with a concert-grade lighting and sound rig and a high-definition video wall, it seats or stands around 350 and runs a calendar of its own: standup and variety nights (Moms Unhinged, Words Wings & Wine), Broadway singalongs, movie screenings, tribute concerts and holiday shows, alongside weddings, galas and private rentals.
