The Lynn Memorial Auditorium is a 2,072-seat proscenium theater built into Lynn City Hall at 3 City Hall Square, on Boston's North Shore. The house splits across an orchestra level of 1,245 seats and an 827-seat balcony, with an orchestra pit, a 40-foot proscenium arch and a sound and lighting rig rebuilt during the room's restoration; two City Hall elevators serve the balcony and accessible seating is available on request. The booking is deliberately broad — touring standup, rock, pop, Latin and tribute concerts, children's shows, dance and theater — and the room has hosted Diana Ross, Smokey Robinson, B.B. King, Howie Mandel, Alice Cooper, Gladys Knight, The Doobie Brothers and Keith Lockhart's Boston Pops over the years. Tickets sell through Ticketmaster and a handful of promoter platforms, plus the venue's own box office in Room 308 of City Hall and the ticket booths at the audience entrance on show nights.
