Off Cabot is a 125-seat lounge at 9 Wallis Street in downtown Beverly, opened in 2022 by The Cabot in partnership with John Tobin Presents as an intimate counterpart to the 850-seat theater a few blocks away. The room has become a hotspot for comedians on the North Shore and around Greater Boston, booking touring standup headliners — Todd Glass, Jeff Allen, Jackie Flynn, Emily Wilson, Joe Fenti — alongside a monthly comedy open mic and Essex Improv nights and classes. Between the comedy dates it runs an eclectic bill of regional and national musicians, burlesque, magic, drag, live podcasts and storytelling. Full bar service, general admission seating that is first come, first served, and the whole venue on one floor.
