Liquid Laughs is Boise's comedy room, tucked into the Liquid Lounge on S 8th Street in the BoDo district downtown. Most ticketed shows run in Liquid Laughs Underground — the roughly 55-seat basement room beneath sister restaurant Solid — where the club books touring headliners alongside the Northwest's regional standups. Comedy runs most nights of the week: free open mics Tuesday through Thursday plus late-night sign-ups on Saturdays, and ticketed showcases and headliner sets on Fridays and Saturdays, including monthly residencies like The Secret Show, Femme Fatale, Cheap Laughs, and Stand Up in the Basement. Food is served late (until midnight Sunday-Thursday, 1am Friday-Saturday) with gluten-free and vegan options, and the bar is open daily from 2:30pm until 2am.
