Goofs Comedy Club is Boston's highest-rated independent comedy club, a purpose-built stand-up room at 432 McGrath Highway on the Somerville/Medford line. Founded as Duck Duck Goofs in 2022 — slinging $4 cans out of a cooler in the basement of a community center — the team opened their brick-and-mortar venue in October 2024 and has grown it into a full-service club with a kitchen turning out gluten-free and vegan options and a full bar with drinks starting at $4. Stand-up runs every week: the flagship Detention headliner showcase stacks two to three shows a night on Fridays and Saturdays, while Fresh Goofs is the midweek new-material showcase. The room is a short walk from the Green Line and Union Square, is fully wheelchair accessible, and there is no drink minimum.
