GLC Live at 20 Monroe is Grand Rapids' downtown Live Nation club — a two-level music hall at 11 Ottawa Ave NW that accommodates up to 2,600 guests and books national touring acts most weeks of the year. Rock, country, Latin and dance bills carry the calendar (Skillet, Trivium, Dropkick Murphys, Lord Huron, The String Cheese Incident, Dylan Gossett), and they run alongside a steady comedy track that has brought Michael Kosta, Marlon Wayans, Chris Fleming, Ryan Hamilton and Rene Vaca to the room. The main floor is general admission with theatre-style seating up in the Mezzanine, and VIP upgrades add seat locations plus access to the venue's Vanguard Lounge and bar. Doors generally open an hour before the scheduled start, entry is mobile-only and cashless, age restrictions vary by show, and the on-site box office is open Mondays and Fridays as well as before each performance.
