The Carolina Theatre of Durham is the city's oldest theater — a nonprofit arts complex on West Morgan Street in downtown Durham that has been the region's home for the arts since 1926. Its roughly 1,000-seat Fletcher Hall hosts touring standup, music, dance and spoken word, while Cinema One and Cinema Two run an independent film programme and the Family Saturday series for kids.
