Atlanta's Original Uptown Comedy Corner has been the home of live urban standup in Atlanta for over 20 years. Dick Gregory, Chris Rock, Kevin Hart, Damon Wayans, Chris Tucker, Paul Mooney, Dave Chappelle, Earthquake, Bruce Bruce, Mo'Nique, Mike Epps, Steve Harvey and Rickey Smiley have all worked the room, and they keep coming back alongside the new faces. The club runs comedy six nights a week: Thursday open-mic showcases, Friday Night Traffic Jam & Jokes, Uptown Saturday Night, Sunset Sundays, Monday Night Spotlight and Date Night Tuesdays. Part of the appeal is that you never know who might drop in to test new material on any given night. Full kitchen and bar, 21+ with valid photo ID, proper casual dress code, and a two-item food-or-drink minimum inside the showroom.
