Wit's End Comedy Lounge is North Charleston's full-time stand-up room — a 90-seat theater on Rivers Ave. with a full bar and restaurant. Founded by comedian Josh Bates alongside entrepreneurs Rick Blind and Bo Silliman, the club runs touring headliners in multi-night weekend runs plus a weekly Monday open mic hosted by MK Kern and The Wit's End Show, a Wednesday showcase that feeds comics onto weekend lineups. Upcoming and recent bills include Emo Philips, Sean Patton, Zoltan Kaszas, Luis J. Gomez, Matthew Broussard, Adrienne Lapalucci and Charles McBee. Seating is first-come general admission with front-row VIP and reserved tabletops; there is no drink minimum, the showroom is 21+ and wheelchair accessible, and filming is not allowed at any time.
