The Well Comedy Club is downtown Bakersfield's stand-up room, at 1517 18th Street. It is a full-service showroom with a bar and food served inside the room, general admission seating alongside Reserved and VIP Reserved tiers, and a two-item minimum per person. Doors open about an hour before showtime, all shows are 18+, and photography, video and audio recording are prohibited during performances. For a market its size, the club books unusually heavy: Chris D'Elia, T.J. Miller, Michael Yo, Matt Friend, Shayne Smith, Dustin Nickerson and David Lucas all headline here, generally as weekend engagements with early and late shows.
