The Starlight Cabaret is an intimate cabaret club on Ventura Blvd in Studio City, founded by stand-up comic and TV personality Katie Cazorla — creator of Hollywood's Kookaburra Lounge, which hosted the likes of Cedric the Entertainer, Jay Leno, and Tiffany Haddish — and Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Walter Afanasieff. Downstairs, the old-Hollywood art-deco Showroom serves up stand-up, live music, burlesque, and variety shows; upstairs, Katie's Lounge is a speakeasy tiki hideaway with karaoke, trivia nights, and late-night fun. The venue is strictly 21+, with a two-drink minimum and a no-phones policy in the Showroom.
