The Orpheum Theatre is a grand 1926 movie palace in the heart of downtown Los Angeles' historic Broadway theatre district. Opened as the fourth and final Los Angeles home of the Orpheum vaudeville circuit, it has hosted a century of live entertainment — from vaudeville headliners and jazz legends like Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald to a young Judy Garland and comedian Jack Benny, through the rock acts of the 1960s and on to today's concerts, comedy, and special events beneath its ornate restored interior.
