Houston's premier independent stand-up comedy club, now in its purpose-built home at 1925 Washington Ave — a 4,700-square-foot venue with a custom 150-seat showroom, ample parking, a full evening bar and food service, and a daytime coffee shop. Founded by comedian Brian Gendron, The Riot runs shows every Thursday through Sunday: touring headliners you've seen on Netflix, HBO and Comedy Central — recent bookings include Ralph Barbosa, Maddy Kelly and Graham Kay — plus weekend showcases of Houston's funniest local comics and a free Monday-night open mic. All shows are 21+ with a two-drink minimum.
