The Parker is a 1,147-seat neo-classical theater in Fort Lauderdale's Holiday Park, opened in 1967 by Dr. Louis Parker and operated today by the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. A top-to-bottom renovation added the S. Donald Sussman Lobby, Bernie Peck's Bar and the JM Family Enterprises Stage, and the room now carries Broadway, rock and classical concerts, dance, magic and family programming alongside the Truist Comedy Series — the standup strand that brings touring headliners like Fortune Feimster, Atsuko Okatsuka, Kathleen Madigan, Leslie Jones, Daniel Sloss, Alex Edelman and Andrew Dice Clay to Fort Lauderdale. The lobby and bar open an hour before curtain and self-parking on site is complimentary.
