Sisyphus Brewing is a Minneapolis taproom and brewery on Ontario Avenue West whose back room doubles as one of the Twin Cities' busiest comedy clubs — an intimate room of about 90 seats running stand-up several nights a week. The club books nationally touring headliners on multi-night runs (Michael Che, Sam Jay, Michael Longfellow, Punkie Johnson, Liz Miele) alongside Minnesota comics, and hosts a free weekly Thursday open mic that regularly features a headliner. Beyond stand-up the room programs live podcast recordings, drag bingo, magic shows and poetry readings. The taproom itself is family-friendly and dog-friendly with board games, pinball and shuffleboard; ticketed comedy shows are 18+.
