Carved into two 300-foot sandstone monoliths in the foothills west of Denver, Red Rocks Amphitheatre is the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world. Opened in 1941 and built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the 9,525-seat open-air venue sits at 6,450 feet inside Red Rocks Park and is owned and operated by the City and County of Denver. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2015. Beyond its legendary music history, Red Rocks hosts touring comedians on its stage — Hasan Minhaj and Ronny Chieng and Matt Rife are among the upcoming bills — alongside Film on the Rocks screenings, Yoga on the Rocks and the SnowShape fitness series. Shows are all ages and ticketing is AXS mobile-only.
