Built in 1998 as Tinseltown Studios and rechristened The Sun Theatre a year later, the 1,700-capacity DigAlert Grove of Anaheim has carried its current name since 2001. The City of Anaheim bought the room in 2002, and OCVIBE took over as manager, operator and booker in 2025. It sits next to Angel Stadium in the heart of Orange County — an intimate theater with 40-foot ceilings, a multi-tiered layout and a proscenium-style stage that has hosted Prince, Merle Haggard, Ray Charles, Stevie Nicks and Lewis Black. The calendar mixes touring music with a steady standup track: recent and upcoming bills include Jonathan Van Ness, Henry Cho, Fred Armisen, Demetri Martin, Ali Siddiq, Amber Autry and Derrick Stroup. Doors feed off the Brewery X Biergarten patio, where ticket holders get a pre-show happy hour an hour before publicized doors. Cashless, smoke-free, no re-entry.
