Coconuts is an intimate 100-seat cabaret showroom inside the TradeWinds Island Resorts on St. Pete Beach, and by its own account the oldest comedy club in Florida — it has been booking a national touring headliner every week since 1986. The room deliberately keeps the look and feel of the original Improv in Hell's Kitchen: low ceiling, tight seating, full liquor bar, casual dress, free parking. Shows run Wednesday and Friday at 8pm and twice on Saturday at 8pm and 9:30pm, with a headliner playing the whole three-night run and a supporting bill alongside them, plus a Friday late-night open mic at 9:30pm. Coconuts alumni include Jim Breuer, Darrell Hammond, Kevin James, Jon Stewart, Billy Gardell and Larry the Cable Guy.
