Von Braun Center

The Von Braun Center is Huntsville's city-owned entertainment and convention complex, filling a downtown block at 700 Monroe Street. Four performance spaces share the one address: the 9,000-seat Propst Arena, home of Huntsville Havoc hockey and the complex's arena-scale concerts and comedy dates; the 1,955-seat Mark C. Smith Concert Hall, where Broadway tours, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra and touring headliners play; the 1,300-capacity Mars Music Hall, an open-floor room with a mezzanine balcony and bar; and the intimate 330-seat Playhouse, home to Theatre Huntsville's season. The Saturn Ballroom and the East and South halls carry the building's banquet, expo and convention side. Standup books across all three of the bigger rooms — recent and upcoming headliners include Jo Koy, Matt Rife, Ali Siddiq, Brad Williams, Rodney Carrington, Amber Autry, Nurse Blake and John Cleese. ADA-compliant entrances, seating and restrooms run throughout the campus, with accessible parking in every lot and sensory-inclusive resources available on request.
