Vermont Comedy Club is Burlington's home for live comedy — a locally owned club opened in 2015 by husband-and-wife comedians Nathan Hartswick and Natalie Miller in the renovated Armory building at the corner of Main and Pine. The 140-seat showroom, set with cabaret tables, hosts national headliners like Gary Gulman, Reggie Watts, Sam Jay, and Kurt Braunohler alongside a deep homegrown program: improv and sketch nights, standup open mics, comedy classes, the Green Mountain Comedy Festival, and the Vermont's Funniest Comedian contest. By day the space runs as a café; by night there's a full bar and a cozy lounge to hang in before the show.
