The Topeka Performing Arts Center is downtown Topeka's main stage — a private, independent non-profit that has spent more than thirty years presenting touring concerts, dance, family shows and comedy to northeast Kansas. The building holds three performance spaces: the roughly 2,400-seat main hall, and, on the lower level, the 120-seat Black Box Theater (the Hussey Playhouse) and Hill's Festival Hall. The Black Box is home to the venue's own TPAC LIVE + Comedy Zone standup series, which brings in touring headliners for club-format shows, while Festival Hall hosts the Topeka Jazz concert series. Comics and artists on the current calendar include Bert Kreischer, Pete Lee, Tammy Pescatelli, Andy Woodhull, Greg Morton, Randy Travis and Riverdance.
