The Silly Rabbit Comedy Club is Baton Rouge's dedicated standup comedy club, located on Airline Highway. Owner Shedrick “Seddy Sed” Marshall began hosting comedy in Baton Rouge in 2001 and ran monthly Silly Rabbit Productions shows at the Belle of Baton Rouge before opening a club of his own — a room built on the motto that laughter is the best medicine. The club brings in touring headliners nearly every week — recent bills include Kojo Sarfo, Kerwin Claiborne and Omar Gooding — and runs an open mic night every other Monday. In classic comedy-club tradition, shows carry a two-drink minimum.
