The Comedy Catch has been Chattanooga's standup club for four decades, and since its move to the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo it has run out of a single-level showroom on Station Street with a full bar and kitchen. Weekends are the backbone — Friday and Saturday double headers at 7:00 and 9:15, plus Thursday and occasional Sunday one-offs — carried by touring headliners like Emo Phillips, Sean Patton, Michael Longfellow, Dustin Nickerson and Shayne Smith. Seating is general admission unless you buy into the first two rows, admission is 18+, and the adjoining BackStage bar pours whiskey and books live music the same nights. Chattanooga's longest-running open mic takes the room the first and third Wednesday of every month.
