The Buddy Holly Hall

The Buddy Holly Hall of Performing Arts and Sciences is Lubbock's flagship venue — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center that opened in 2021 at 1300 Mac Davis Lane, in the heart of downtown. Two rooms sit under one roof: the roughly 2,300-seat Helen DeVitt Jones Theater and the 400-seat Crickets Theater, and between them the Hall brings world-class concerts, touring Broadway, stand-up comedy and community programming to the South Plains. Comedy bookings run to arena-tier touring headliners — Bert Kreischer, Jim Gaffigan and John Crist are all on the current calendar. Managed by Legends Global, the Hall is fully accessible, with ADA and companion seating in both theaters plus assistive listening devices and ASL interpreters available on request; tickets are sold through Etix and the box office at (806) 792-8339.
