The Armory at MGM Springfield is the live-entertainment room inside the MGM Springfield casino resort at One MGM Way in downtown Springfield, housed in the city's restored former State Armory. It is the home of ROAR! Comedy Club, a full-time stand-up room programmed in partnership with John Tobin Presents and billed as the place to see "the nation's best stand-up comedians" — headliners on the current calendar include Chris Porter, Jeff Allen, Matt Friend, Ian Fidance, Chris Franjola, Brad Upton and Justin Silva. ROAR! shows run Thursday and Friday at 8pm and Saturday at 8pm and 10:15pm, with doors 30 minutes prior; the room is 16+ (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult), there is no drink minimum, and a full bar is available. Larger touring shows on the same campus play the 1,200-seat Aria Ballroom and the Bellagio Ballroom, and self-parking is available in the casino garage.
