State Theatre Portland

A 1,870-capacity historic theatre at 609 Congress Street in downtown Portland's Arts District. The State Theatre opened in 1929 as a first-run movie house and reopened after a multi-million-dollar renovation as Portland's flagship concert hall — a bi-level room with an ornate period lobby, two seated balconies above a general-admission main auditorium floor, great sight-lines from anywhere in the house, and a full bar. Programmed by State Theatre Presents, it runs touring music most nights alongside a steady national standup track: Marc Maron, Leslie Jones, Atsuko Okatsuka, Zarna Garg, Maria Bamford, Jeff Arcuri, Becky Robinson, Kristin Key and Lucas Zelnick all play the room this season. All ages unless an individual event says otherwise, no re-entry, and tickets exclusively through Ticketmaster.
