The Grande Exposition Hall is the big-room venue inside Silver Legacy Resort Casino at 407 N. Virginia St in downtown Reno, a Caesars property on the Virginia Street casino row. It is a 19,360-square-foot transformable hall that seats roughly 1,600 for a concert and reconfigures for banquets, conventions and cage fights, which is why its calendar swings so widely: national standup headliners such as Gary Owen, Steve-O, Matt Mathews and Rene Vaca share the room with touring rock, country and Latin acts (Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Dwight Yoakam, Alter Bridge, Jamey Johnson, Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox), Vietnamese variety nights and King of the Cage MMA cards. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster and the Silver Legacy box office (open Tuesday through Sunday, later on show nights), accessible seating is available, and restrictions vary by event — minors must be accompanied by an adult. Parking is in the garage behind the resort on Sierra St, with valet and free self-parking. The Laugh Factory's Reno club is a separate, smaller room in the same resort with its own calendar.
