The Selena Auditorium is the roughly 2,500-seat theatre inside the Hilliard Center — the downtown bayfront entertainment complex at 1901 N. Shoreline Blvd in Corpus Christi that was known as the American Bank Center until its 2025 rename. Built in 1979 and renamed in 1996 in honor of Corpus Christi's own Selena Quintanilla-Perez, whose memorial was held here, the auditorium is the Coastal Bend's main sit-down stage: touring standup (John Mulaney, Bert Kreischer, Jim Gaffigan, Gary Owen, John Crist, Brad Williams), Broadway tours, concerts, Corpus Christi Ballet's Nutcracker and family shows all play the room. Operated by Oak View Group alongside the complex's 10,000-seat arena and convention center. The building is cashless and non-smoking, runs a clear-bag policy, and has accessible seating on every level.
