Sanctuary DTLA

Sanctuary DTLA is the current incarnation of Clifton's, the five-floor Broadway landmark that has anchored downtown Los Angeles since 1932. Under new management the building runs as a late-night house rather than a cafeteria: DJs and Latin dance nights across the main floors beneath the redwood that grows through the middle of the atrium, trivia in the tiki bar at the top of the building, and comedy and bad-movie nights down in the basement's Nether Bar. Programming runs Friday and Saturday from 8pm, 21+ throughout, and any one floor — or the whole building — can be taken for a private event.
