Rubber Ptarmigan Comedy

Rubber Ptarmigan is Alaska's statewide comedy collective — a group of Anchorage-based standup comedians who have been producing shows since 2021 and whose calendar doubles as the state's comedy calendar. Founded by Ben Peterson, Jake Armstrong, and Ida Taylor, the crew books national touring headliners like Hannibal Buress, Josh Blue, and Craig Robinson into rented theaters, breweries, and bars from Anchorage and Fairbanks to Homer, Soldotna, and Kodiak, alongside homegrown showcases and themed shows that spotlight Alaska's own comics. Their motto says it best: there's no beef here, only ptarmigan.
