Q.E.D. is a small, independent arts space on 23rd Avenue in Astoria, Queens — founded in 2014 by author Kambri Crews and owned since 2025 by comedian Hannah Lieberman, and the only woman-owned and operated venue of its kind in the borough. Time Out New York readers voted it the #1 comedy venue in all of NYC. Behind the storefront café and bar is a roughly 60-seat showroom that runs more than 100 events a month: the house-booked QED Presents stand-up showcases, Gary Gulman's PIZZAZZ residency, producer-booked shows like End of the Line and StandUpTown, free open mics most nights of the week, plus storytelling, screenings, workshops and kids' programming. Seating is general admission, first come first served, and the room is on the ground floor with step-free access.
