Built in 1957 and operated by the Wexner Center for the Arts at The Ohio State University since 1989, Mershon Auditorium is a 2,590-seat hall on North High Street in the middle of the OSU campus in Columbus. It is renowned for its precise acoustics, spacious seating and clear sightlines, and its calendar mixes Wexner Center performances and Ohio State activities with concerts, national touring productions and touring standup booked by Columbus Arena Sports & Entertainment — recent and upcoming bills include Taylor Tomlinson, Jordan Klepper, Nurse John, Matt McCusker and the Killers of Kill Tony showcase. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster; the box office opens two hours before showtime on event days, the venue is cashless, and a strict no-bag policy applies.
