Last Best Comedy is Montana's comedy club — a room tucked down the alley beneath the historic Bozeman Hotel at 321 E Main St, in the heart of downtown Bozeman. Annie and Levin O'Connor founded it with Molly Hannan in 2019 after moving up from the Chicago and Los Angeles improv worlds, and opened the current space in September 2021 as a home for both performance and training in the Gallatin Valley. The club runs Tuesday through Saturday: touring stand-up headliners on Friday and Saturday nights — Reggie Watts, Dulcé Sloan, River Butcher, Matthew Broussard, Jessica Michelle Singleton and Sarah Tollemache have all played the room — alongside house improv (Whiz Bang!, Notorious BOZ), the Treasure State Comedy Showcase for Montana comics, and Bone Dry Comedy's free Tuesday open mic. There's a full bar of comedy-inspired cocktails, most shows are 18+ (21+ after 11pm), and there's no drink minimum.
