The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is West Palm Beach's main stage: a 10.6-acre downtown campus that opened in November 1992 and now runs roughly 550 performances a season for nearly 500,000 visitors. Three rooms carry the schedule — the 2,195-seat Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall, the 300-seat Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Playhouse and the 300-seat Helen K. Persson Hall — alongside the Cohen Pavilion's Gimelstob Ballroom, the Picower Foundation Arts Education Center and the outdoor Kravis Family Plaza. A private non-profit, the Center presents Kravis On Broadway, a classical concert series, 54 Below at The Rinker cabaret nights, dance, jazz, lectures and film, and hosts resident companies including Miami City Ballet, Palm Beach Opera, Palm Beach Symphony and Ballet Palm Beach. Touring standup plays both of the big rooms: Nurse John, David Nihill, Bianca Del Rio, Iliza Shlesinger and OMGitsWicks with Ken Miller and DeWayne Williams are all on the current calendar. Every venue in the complex is wheelchair accessible — the Center was given the National Endowment for the Arts' "universal design" recognition in 1996 — and there is no dress code.
