Ensemble Arts Philly's Kimmel Cultural Campus is Philadelphia's largest performing-arts complex, spread along the stretch of South Broad Street known as the Avenue of the Arts. Four stages carry the programming: the 2,500-seat Marian Anderson Hall and the 650-seat Perelman Theater inside the glass-vaulted Kimmel Center at 300 South Broad, the 1,840-seat Miller Theater a block north, and the 2,600-seat Academy of Music, the oldest continuously operating opera house in the United States. The non-profit presents roughly 1,500 events a year across Broadway tours, jazz, classical, dance, family programming and comedy, and is home to The Philadelphia Orchestra alongside resident companies including Opera Philadelphia, Philadelphia Ballet, PHILADANCO!, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society and the Curtis Institute of Music. Comedy books into the Miller and Perelman rooms and into the Academy on the biggest nights — headliners on the current calendar include Jim Gaffigan, Ilana Glazer, Jordan Klepper, Gary Gulman, Michael Kosta, Josh Johnson, Jordan Jensen and David Sedaris. Every theatre has wheelchair-accessible locations and assistive listening devices.
