KeyBank Center is downtown Buffalo's 19,000-seat arena, home of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the NLL's Buffalo Bandits and the city's main stop for arena-scale touring shows. Opened in 1996 on the Canalside waterfront at One Seymour H. Knox III Plaza, it hosts concerts, family shows, college basketball and championship bull riding alongside the hockey calendar, and it is where the biggest touring standup comedians play when they come through Western New York — Matt Rife brings his Stay Golden World Tour here, and Nate Bargatze's Big Dumb Eyes tour stopped in earlier. Tickets for every event are sold through Ticketmaster; the arena is fully accessible and cashless, with a strict no-bags policy.
