Built in 1937 and tucked just off Lexington on East 23rd Street, the Gramercy Theatre is a 650-capacity Live Nation room in the Flatiron/Gramercy stretch of Manhattan — a former movie house turned mid-sized venue with a main floor and a mezzanine, a full bar, and mostly general-admission standing and seating. It runs a busy mixed calendar of touring rock, metal, pop and hip-hop bills alongside a steady stream of standup: recent and upcoming bookings include Nicole Byer, Sasheer Zamata, Rosebud Baker, Leslie Liao, Adam Ray, Wally Baram, Pat McGann, Josh Thomas and Russell Howard, plus New York Comedy Festival dates and touring international comics. The venue is cashless, non-smoking, and does not allow in-and-outs; age limits vary by show and are listed per event.
